The decentralized blockchain platform, Windfall, in collaboration with Web3 investor Victus Capital, aims to make the real estate market more accessible through “tokenization.”
This process involves creating digital tokens that represent ownership in physical assets like real estate. The partnership seeks to utilize blockchain technology to offer fractional ownership, increased liquidity, and improved transparency and security in real estate investments. “Traditional real estate investment faces significant barriers to entry. Tokenization lowers these barriers by reducing minimum investment requirements, thus allowing greater participation from individuals who previously could not access these opportunities.
Unlike conventional real estate investments, which can be illiquid and lock up capital for long periods, tokens can be traded on secondary markets,” said a Windfall spokesperson.
