Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed out a cheque for Rs 224 crore to the official liquidator and the heads of the Hukumchand Mill Labour Union on Monday during the ‘Mazdooron Ka Hit Mazdooron Ko Samarpit’ function held at Kankeshwari Ground.
In his virtual speech, Prime Minister Modi stated that today’s programme is the product of years of labourers’ penance. It is the culmination of many years of their hopes and resolutions. “I firmly believe that our labourer families will shower their blessings upon the new team of the double-engine government,” he said.
