The United Nations General Assembly was considering giving Palestine a full UN membership. The UN qualified Palestine to join and recommended the UN Security Council to “reconsider the matter favourably.” The Israeli ambassador Gilad Erdan shredded the UN charter during his address to the delegates during the UN General Assembly.
The United Nations General Assembly was deciding the Palestinian bid to become a full UN member – a move that will effectively recognise a Palestinian state after the US vetoed in the UN Security Council last month.
The Palestinian UN ambassador Riyas Mansour said, “We want peace, we want freedom. A yes vote is a vote for Palestinian existence, it is not against any state. … It is an investment in peace.”
“Voting yes is the right thing to do,” he said in remarks that drew applause.
‘Palestinians are not “peace-loving”’
The Israeli Ambassador spoke against giving Palestinians full UN membership.
“As long as so many of you are ‘Jew-hating,’ you don’t really care that the Palestinians are not ‘peace-loving,’” said UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan
He in protest against the UN’s action and giving Palestine full membership shredded the UN charter signifying the destruction of the UN’s values.
Watch my speech against the despicable decision to give rights of a state to the terror supporting Palestinian Authority. I shredded the “UN Charter” to illustrate what the General Assembly is doing by subverting the Security Council and supporting the entry of a terror entity.

Erdan called the resolution “a clear violation” of the UN charter, claiming it to have gone against the US veto last month. “You have opened up the United Nations to modern day Nazis, to genocidal jihadists committed to establishing an Islamic State across Israel and the region murdering every Jewish man woman and child.”
“An unforgivable act the destruction of the United Nations Charter, the document which serves as the foundation of everything we are supposed to do here is being trampled upon, you are circumventing the Security Council, ignoring its decision and violating the norms this organization has abided by,” declared the Israeli envoy.
UN Resolution passed
The Resolution delivered a positive result for the Palestinian people. 143 nations supported and voted for the resolution, while 9 voted against and 25 abstained. This resolution will give Palestine some more powers in spite of not being a full member.
India voted in favour of the resolution and supported making Palestine a full UN member.
